Aluminium Base Plate (48.3mm) - Kee Lite (L62-8)

This aluminium base plate tube clamp is to be used with 48.3mm alloy or steel tube. The base plate should always be used to fix down guardrailing and balustrades. Holes are of sufficient diameter to give a good fixing with either a mechanical or chemical anchor, and two sets of grub screws in the vertical socket give greater stability to the upright. It is recommended that the fixing holes in the flange be in-line with the applied load. The tube is able to pass through the base of the fitting.

These aluminium tube clamps are great for use in harsh enviroments (like marine work), as they are corrision resistant, and controlled enviroments like clean-rooms etc... They can also be used as an alternative to fabrication to construct all-aluminium structures, and are also useful for building temporary or portable structures like trade show stands, banner stands, for staging or lighting rigs etc... as they are extremely lightweight.

The hole diameter for the fixing is 6mm.

We do not recommend pre-drilling as there can be irregularities in casting that can produce small variations in the size of the holes.
