No these boards are not treated. They are European whitewood and have been either visually or machine graded fr scaffolding use.

How would you recommend fixing the tarpaulin on a stick roof structure? Would toggles be sufficient?

We recommend either 6mm rope or elasticated cord.

Yes you can install 2x raised bed kits on top of each other. There are no posts included in the kit but we sell them separately at 600mm or 1200mm lengths.

This raised bed kit comes with corner brackets only, and does not include the posts.

Tanalised wood treatment

Is it safe to use tantalised wood if growing vegetables due to leakage of chemicals ?

Our pressure treatment process is completely safe for growing fruit and vegetables. New processes prevent any sort of "leakage". Please contact us for full pressure treatment details.

Are these boards kiln dried or will I have to dry them at home before using for a project (a table)?

Hi, these boards are rough cut and untreated. If used in furniture manufacture, you will need to dry them inside before uses.

pull up bar

Hi, i'm making a pull up bar and wanted to use these to anchor the steel bar to the wall. How many holes are there in the plate to secure it to the wall?

and do you think it will take my weight (10st) if the bar is approx 1.3m in length?

Hello, there are 4x holes in each clamp, and yes it should be fine for a pull up bar, we have done a lot of them!

How much of the post needs to be in the ground

If I'm doing double height 3m boards i.e. 18 inches high would a 2 foot post be high enough i.e. just 6 inches in the ground?

Yes 2ft posts would be suitable for this, but if you wanted to make the bed kit even more sturdy you could use 4ft posts.

Hello, yes these fittings will clip to 48.3mm scaffold tube.

Can this swivel be locked?

I want to construct a frame to support a waterproof sail to cover our barbeque area. I will need to fix a pole at an angle, would this bracket allow me to do so ( it will be screwed into a substantial decking beam).

This fixing cannot lock in place. To lock it you would need to secure the tube going into it at the other end.

These nuts are 7/16ths, you can tighten/loosen them with a regular scaffolding spanner.

Can the tube pass all the way through the fitting?

i.e. can I use it to stabilise a pole half way up?

Hello, no the tube cannot pass all the way through. To do this you would need the use the "143D" handrail bracket tube clamp.
