To Install:

"At the beginning of any job Jordan Safety Clamps need to be included as they are secured to the standards before erection begins. The Jordan Safety Clamps are located 4m from the bottom end of the standard for the first lift and 400mm from the top of the standard for access on the second lift, and because of the design of the Clamp this process is quick and simple.

The single ring bolt connection must be located on the inside of the standard when the fitting is secure. When the standard is used the clamp is already in place and when work reaches the first lift, the clamp is available above head height for the scaffolder to hook safely onto.

If more than two 2m lifts are required for the scaffold, a Jordan Safety Clamp is fixed approximately 400mm from the top of the longest standard (normally 7m tubes). If the scaffold is to be higher than 7m, Jordan Safety Clamps are fixed on tubes that are being used as hemps, before they are put onto sleeves. This provides anchor points on the next lift of scaffolding, this process can be continued until the scaffold is complete.

All Jordan Safety Clamps must be left in position and used when dismantling or modifying scaffold structures – thus providing safe anchor points throughout and at all times."
